Inktober - Week 4

Yikes, can someone please tell me how four weeks past in flash? Seriously, this month is just rushing by.  >.<

I was worried I wouldn't know what to draw after Inktober, but thankfully, me and my sister, Lostfairy, have thought of tons of EXO drawing ideas to draw. (EXO as fairytale characters, anyone?) XDD So be prepared for an EXO overload next month.

Day 21: drain

Gosh, Skyward Sword Link is probably one of my favorite Links ever. XD His character arc and personality and, not to mention, his design is incredible. If you haven't played SS yet, you should totally consider it. XD

I had so much fun drawing a silly, exaggerated expression on Link. One of the reasons why I like doing those kinds of faces is 'cause if you mess up a bit, no one can tell because the expression is so goofy anyway. XDD

Day 22: expensive

METTATON!!!!!!! *does jazz hands* Don't you just love the new million dollar boots he bought? XD

I had so much fun drawing this picture. The boots were a bit hard to draw, and I didn't get everything to look like I wanted it to, but I still like the way it looks. XD

Day 23: muddy

I love playing Animal Crossing: New Leaf. I have a neighbor in my town that I like to draw. I've come up with my own design based on his look in AC. So this drawing is of me and my neighbor, Julian the unicorn.

The writing on the bottom of the picture means rain in Korean. XD

Day 24: chop

The Neighbor from Hello Neighbor never has an axe, but I wouldn't put it past him.

His face was so hard to draw, and I'm still not happy with it. XD I wasn't really in a drawing mood that day, heh.

Day 25: prickly

I'm happy with this drawing. Have I ever told you that I love drawing creepy things? XD Seriously, its so fun.

Alice's dress took ages to fill in. XD But I think it was worth the time it took. And I like the dramatic solid black ink on her arms and neck.

Day 26: stretch

Okay, yeah, no, I don't know how to draw someone stretching.

This is the first time I've drawn a Splatoon Inkling. It was rather interesting to draw tentacles, instead of hair.

Day 27: thunder

I know thunder isn't lightning, but they go hand in hand, no? XD

I love Pit's design, but I messed up a few details. XDD I also drew Pit looking a little older than thirteen.

So far, I think this is my favorite drawing. XD

I can't believe I'm on the last week!!!!! It's crazy~!!!!!! (Also, do you like my new backdrop for my art pictures? My family got a new table so now I have to take pictures on there, instead of the old one.)

What are you going to be doing in November?

The Free Commissions are Done!!!

Hey faeriessssss!!!!!!!!!!!! Imma backkkkkkkkkk.

And, yes! I finished making the commissions without you having to wait months and months!!!

(Sorry, forgot to get a link, I did NOT make this GIF.)

That's me celebrating. CX

Ahem! Anyhoo, before I show you guys the art you requested, I need to tell you something. This is VERY serious. *almost starts laughing* I have made the bestest artwork you ever seen in your life. I'm being absolutely serious here. Your mind is gonna be blown when you see this.

Are you ready?!

I don't think you are.

But then again, no one is ready to see the gloriousness I have created.

If you die from this, I'm sorry.

TA-DAAAAAAAAAAA. It's my fabulous Bendy and the Ink Machine art!!!! XDDDD

Isn't it perfect? CX

What? You don't like it??? DX

(Again, forgot the link. DX)

Haha. Sorry, that was a bad joke. *shakes head* I don't know what I was doing.

Well, I made that Alice Angel and Bendy artwork as a joke once and I just felt like posting because why not? XDD

Okay! Now on to the commissions!

I only actually got around to finishing the first one and getting the pencil version of the second commission done when I was in the waiting room at the appointment. XD So I drew the rest at home. :P

Snowlondon (sorry, I could only find your Google+ account to link back to you!) requested first, and she asked for her original character, Seraphina.

Seraphina is a mermaid, but I'm not sure if I made her mermaid-ish enough. DX I'm not a fan of the tradition mermaid outfit so I made up my own. I tried to have her sleeves be like a gauzy, see-through material, and I think it worked...? XD

And, from what I can tell, she seems like a determined girl! I hope I could put all that bravery and character into her expression. :)

I hope you like it, Snow! :D

Now, it's Sarahkey8's art! Sarah also asked for an OC of her's, Kaylee.

I had no clue what kind of swirls and polka dots you wanted, Sarah! XDD So I hope this is what you had in mind. Also, I hope Kaylee looks like she has a Ty Lee personality. CX

Heh, the raven earrings went superrrrr well. XDD Sorry, I don't know how to draw tiny ravens. They ended up looking like pointy blobs. >.<

Lately, I've been testing out shading skin with different colors besides my usual. (Which is tan and more skin tone-ish colors.) I shaded Kaylee with red and then faded it with an eraser and colored lightly over it again with a tan colored pencil. I thought the red would bring out the pink in the shirt.

I hope I did Kaylee justice, Sarah! C:

Josiah's is the next one! He commissioned me to draw Shovel Knight from, you guessed it, the game, Shovel Knight! XD

Welp, this was strange art to draw...

I don't know what to say about the art, but Shovel Knight looks like a fun character. I'm curious to see what his games would be about. :D

Erasing the certain parts on his armor to create the shine was really fun. And it was nice not having to draw eyes. (Arghhhh, getting the eyes to be the same shape is hard. >.<)

I hope you like seeing Shovel Knight in my art style, Josiah!

Last commission is Lostfairy's!!! She asked for Ghirahim from Legend of Zelda, but she is writing a fanfic with him in it. When she requested that he have the personality from her story, so he's, uh, kinder?? I guess?? I don't know! XD

Man, I love the story Lostfairy is writing, it's so good! :o And, so it was fun to draw Ghirahim from it.

Ghirahim was the commission I struggled with the longest because I couldn't get his hair to be something I liked. XD I think I'm finally happy with the end product.

I also tried something new-ish (for me, at least) with the parting in his hair. I did tiny, short lines in the direction his hair would go instead of drawing just a line or two. I really like the way it looks, so that's something I'll be doing a lot more. I'm not sure if that technique works just for guy's partings or not.

The shirt that Ghirahim's wearing is super fun to draw. I like how it's based on Link's Skyloft clothes in Skyward Sword but the colors are different. The red and black really work for Ghirahim's character.

Heh, it was a little strange to not draw an eyebrow. And then shade on his eyelid without having the eyebrow to base it on.

Psst! Can you tell that I left Ghirahim's lips white like they are in the video game? XDD

I hope I made Ghirahim a fraction as good as he is in your story, Lost!

Yup, that's all the art! It was really enjoyable to draw!!! (And, it forced me to draw a couple females, 'cause lately I have been just drawing guys... Heh. XDDD And I don't want to get out of practice drawing girls. :P)

Thank you all for requesting the free doodles!!! I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed making them. <3

- - -

If you got the free art, you are allowed to repost it. But, you must follow these two rules:

1. You MUST leave the watermark on it.

2. And you must give a link to Faeries and Folklore.

That's my conditions for reposting the art I gave for the free doodle commission.

And, just to be clear, if you want to repost any more of my art or art that you didn't get from the commissions, you must ask me for permission first!

Welp! That's all I have to say for today. CX

I hope you have a lovely time zone!!!

What do you think of the GIFs I posted in the beginning of the post? XD Too weird? (More like, too cute, right? CX)

Introduction - 30 Drawings Challenge

Hey faeries! :D

This is my first drawing from the drawing challenge. (Lostfairy and I changed up the rules a little for the challenge. Instead of drawing one piece of art each day, we are going to draw as much as we feel like doing and if we don't finish the art in one day that's okay. So the name of the challenge doesn't make sense anymore to be 30 Day Drawing Challenge. 30 Drawings Challenge is better. XD)

The first drawing prompt was to draw an introduction. I don't have an original character to introduce so I drew myself. XD

Hopefully, you can read what it says on my picture. Let me know if you can't and I'll make a comment or something with what it says. XD

I drew myself wearing one of my favorite outfits. XD I can't wear my hoodie as much in the summer 'cause it's too hot. But it's still one of my favorite clothing items. ^.^

I'll be posting more of the drawings I did for the challenge slowly. The first few are going to be done with colored pencils, mostly, but soon it'll change over to just markers because I using a new sketchbook that doesn't go with color pencils. DX XD

Welp, I hope you guys liked learning a little more about me. And I'll you all Thursday!

Do we have anything in common? XD

Ghirahim

Hey faeries! :)

So, today I'm posting my fully colored Ghirahim! It was so much fun coloring him, to be honest. XD

Since his outfit is so white, I did a messy background to make him stand out. XD And there really isn't a whole lot to say about the rest of the coloring. XD I erased when necessary to make sure the colors weren't too bright and I colored Ghirahim's hair a little bit purple for the shading.

[source]
This is one of the reference photos I used. (I ditched the cloak, though. XD)

Both my mom and my older sister were so shocked to find out the diamond pattern on Ghirahim's outfit was actual holes. XDDD And I must admit that it's looks strange to have so many holes in a person's outfit; but I'm so used to it so I no longer think about it. XDD

Wow, today's post is so short! Sorry about that! DX

I have just this week of school and then I'm done!!! XD

Ghirahim - uncolored art

Hey faeries!

Yikes, school has been keeping me busy! I haven't drawn at all this week. So I'm running out of art to post. XDD Therefore, I'm posting some art I have actually finished but I'm showing you the unfinished work. :P Does that make a lick of sense to you? XD

Anyhoo, I been wanting to draw Ghirahim from Skyward Sword for quite some time now. And just a week or so ago, I finally got around to doing it. ;)

I didn't come up with the pose idea myself. I looked at someone else's art for help on how to draw it right.
(I forgot to get a link to the site which this picture can be found, sorry!)
Here's the picture I looked at. (I love this artist's art style!)

Since the weekend is nearly upon us, I'll hopefully will have more time to draw.

- - -

Welp, two of my siblings and I are going out today to get ice cream! It's so hot out right now! XD Last time we went out to go get something cold, we went for an hour long walk around a park in our city. It was so fun. I think we're going to eat our ice cream on the go today, too. ^.^ (I don't know why I'm telling you this, but I am, so... XD)

What do you like to do when it gets super hot outside?

Tales of the Month

Hey! I actually read a quite a few books this month!!!! Woo! Go me! XDD

Lately, it feels like I've barely been reading five books or less a month, when normally I read more, and I read a total seven books last month!!! So this feels like a time to celebrate a little. XD (Although, sorry, three out of the seven books I read last month I don't have enough words to say about them, so I won't being talking about them on here. DX)

Secret Origins by James Riley

This book is about: Bethany and Owen said they wouldn't go book jumping again. But adventure just seems to find them, no matter how much they avoid it. A stranger is watching Bethany's house, does he know who Bethany is and what she can do? Bethany drags Owen into investigating this stalker, and together they find a portal in the man's basement leading to a whole other dimension. This dimension has superheroes and super villains, and one particularly hero, Doc Twilight, seems to be the key to finding Bethany's father! But in this dimension, the world is taken over by something called the Dark, and only Doc Twilight can stop him. Only there is one small problem, where is Doc Twilight?

Oh my flipping gosh, this book was amazing. I think Story Thieves is one of my favorite series ever. I love the characters and the humor and the story telling in general! I cannot even comprehend the ending to Secret Origins... There was so much backstory revealed in this book, it's crazy awesome.

I could go on and on about this book but I think if I kept talking I'd spoil everything... So! On to the next book!!! XD

Wires and Nerve by Marissa Meyer

This book is about: The wolf-hybrid soldiers are still on the loose, and they're causing more damage than good. The shaky peace between earth and Luna is done for if things keep going the way they are. Iko takes it upon herself to go and capture every rogue soldier and return them to Luna. Accompanied by a handsome Lunar guard, Iko soon finds out that catching the wolf soldiers is going to be harder than she expected.

I wasn't so sure I'd like this next installment to The Lunar Chronicles series, the art style wasn't at all how I thought it would be! In my opinion, I thought the art style was more for a younger audience. What helped me look past that was imagining the characters the way I imagined them when reading the novels. Once I started doing that, I enjoyed it far more than I had before.

The story itself was good; of course, since it's a graphic novel, it can't go as in depth as the other books, so some people might see that as a bit of disappointment. I still enjoyed it. :) I will most definitely read the next one!

Twilight Princess (Volume 1) by Akira Himekawa

This book is about: Link's past is something he wants desperately to leave behind, and a little village in the middle of nowhere is a good place to hide. As Link grows to love this peaceful village and it's people, something dark is happening to the rest of Hyrule. Will Link have the bravery to face his past and stand up to the darkness threatening his home?

Normally all The Legend of Zelda comic books are rated E for everyone, but, uh, this book was rated Teen... And for a good reason, it had way more graphic scenes than any of the other books. Like, ya know, someone's arm got chopped off. Heh. :P And *sigh* don't get me started on the one opening scene with the Princess of Twilight. *cough cough* Better clothes would be NICE. XDDD

That was about it for teenish content in the book, but still. XDD

Now, don't get me wrong, this book isn't a completely horrible you-should-never-read-it-let's-burn-it-instead kind of book. The story was really cute and told in sweet, kinda slow for LOZ comic books way. And I really enjoyed it. But since it's a much darker graphic novel, I wouldn't let a young reader read it. And I wouldn't give it to a first timer of LOZ books since none of the other books are like that.

To sum it up, it's a grim book but I liked reading about Link's backstory and the sweet village he lives in. :)

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone by J. K. Rowling

This book is about: Harry Potter is a young orphan boy living with his aunt and uncle and their bratty son. One day, on Harry's eleventh birthday, a note shows up on at his door. That letter changed everything for Harry. It told him he was a wizard and that he was invited to a school of magic called Hogwarts. At the school, Harry makes friends and some enemies. And it appears that one of his enemies, Voldemort, who had tried to kill Harry as a baby but failed, is up to no good again. Harry, his friend Ron, and Hermione take it upon themselves to find the Philosopher's Stone, which is the very thing that Voldemort's after. If the Stone got into Voldemort's hands, that would mean an end to the Hogwarts as they know it and who knows what other kinds of evil things would occur; and there's no way Harry can let that happen.

AHHHHHHH, I LOVE THIS BOOK. SERIOUSLY, SO MUCH. XDD And, teehee, can you spot Draco on the cover??? XDDD

I think I will give a review on here two weeks from now. :P  So you'll have to wait 'til then to get my full thoughts on the first Harry Potter book.

- - -

Whew, well, this was written later than I thought it would be. XD Hope that's with y'all. XDD

Have a great day! Stay fabulous, be glamorous and you'll don fine in life. XDD What am I even saying??? >.< XD

What are you reading?

Random Art and Art Request Not Done as I Promised it Would Be (sorry about that!) and New Posting Schedule!

*hums to song I'm listening to*

...

*foot bounces to the tune*

...

*fingers start tapping to the melody*

...

*sways a little*

...

*starts danc-*

Okay! I need to stop! XD

Ahem. I am completely calm.

*looks away innocently*

Whaaaat? I did not have coffee before writing this post. Heh, heh, why would you think THAT? It's not like I'm acting hyper again! Nope, no way! This girly is not crazy, at allllllllll. *laughs weirdly then coughs because it looks like I'm hyper if I laugh like that and I'm trying to convince you guys I did not drink coffee but is failing so miserably that I break down with plenty of tears and snot and confess that I did indeed drink a cup of coffee and then I beg for forgiveness and promise never to touch that drink again, but we all know that I can't resist a good cup of java and will go back to my old ways in a blink of an eye*

OM. I'm so, so weird. XD Ignore that crazy intro. :P

You guys remember me drawing the Korok, Makar? Well, this is one of his friends named Hollo. I felt like drawing one more of these little guys. And I have to say, I think this guy turned out better than Makar. D: #Oops. #IshouldhaveshownyouhowtodrawHolloinsteadofMakarbecausethenyouwouldknowhowtodrawthebetteronenottheuglierone :P (If anyone can tell what the loooooonnnnngggg hashtag says, then you get a gold star! XD)

Hollo is like a lot of other Koroks in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild game in the fact that he carries two sticks with berries of some sort on them. But I didn't draw Hollo from BOTW; he is technically from Wind Waker.

*looks at the picture some more and shakes head a little* Hollo has such a strange nose. XDDD But that's how it looks like in the game, so *shrugs* oh well. :P He'll just have to deal with having a very pointy nose... Annnnnd eyes that are different sizes and a funny mouth/chin thingabob???? XDD

I finished coloring my picture of some of Draco's emotions. :D I really, really like the neutral expression. XD I don't know why, but that's my favorite of all the faces I drew on here. ^.^

In case you were wondering, when I color his sweater that he wears over the collared shirt, I color it first with a regular black pencil. And the colored pencil I have likes leaving little white spots everywhere unless you color über hard, so I then color it over with my white pencil.

(Fun Fact: for the longest time I had no idea what the use of a white colored pencil was, but recently-ish I found it is quite handy for blending colors. It kinda smooths them out, if that makes sense. XD Also I have no idea if I have told you all about the white pencil thing before, so sorry if I have!

And then, once I finished coloring all sweater with white, I use another black I have that colors denser than my first black. I shade it with the denser black colored pencil. (The denser black colored pencil is a Prismacolor brand pencil and the other colored pencils I use all the time are of the Staedtler brand.)

- - -

I'm so so so sorry! I promised last week that I would have maybe two art requests done by this week. And-and-and- *bursts into tears* I DIDN'T. I don't. I haven't. I should've. I could've. And *insert all the others words for I lied and didn't do what I promised.* DX

I'm very sorry I didn't get the first one done. I'm super close, though. I have, like, less than half of the picture to color...?

So instead of being able to post the fully colored art request from Sarah (she was the first one to ask for art, and I'm doing a first come, first served kind of thing), I'll show you all a sneak peek of what I've colored so far!

What do you think so far? After I had inked it... I realized I forgot an important detail to Sarah's request. :1 She's supposed to have a cloak.

And I didn't add it.

Phooey.

I feel like I'm saying sorry a lot in this post. I'm terribly, terribly sorry, Sarah!!!! I hope you can forgive me... :( I'll try my hardest to make the rest of the coloring make up for that.

- - -

You're all probably wondering why the ham and eggs would I want a new posting schedule. The reason is... with this new schedule, I'll be posting more frequently and there will be more art spread through out; instead of having an art dump every couple of weeks. I want to share my art with you more. :)

So! My schedule will be posting every other Saturday instead of each Saturday. No! Don't worry! I'm not finished telling you my whole new schedule yet. And I'll post on every Monday and Thursday! Those two extra post will be a lot shorter because I'll just be posting one piece of art I've done recently, but it won't mean less content for my blog.

I hope this is okay with you! I really feel like this help me show you more art, which I want to do so badly. If this new schedule is not working for me in the next couple months, I'll switch back to my old one. But starting this week, I'll start the new schedule. :) I'm rather excited! XD

See you on Monday, faeries!!!

*bursts into song*

♫I guess I'm stuck here,

Until my luck clears,

Blue skies painted in my eyes!♫

*wants to keep going but holds back because that would be weird if I sang a whole song on my blog*

*mumbles* I'm. Still. Completely. Normal.

Heh! Who am I kidding? ♫I'm an oddity but that's alright!

What's your thoughts on my new schedule?

Tales of the Month and Art Request Update

*talks in a nice old lady way* Hello, hello! So nice of you to drop by! I hope you'll stay long enough for tea and crumpets.

...

*stares at what I just typed*

What am I doing?!

Don't.

Don't ask.  :/ I think it's the coffee again.

*glares at the cold cup of coffee I have sitting next to me*

*Cold Cup of Coffee stares back innocently*

*pauses the music I'm listening to and grabs Cold Cup of Coffee to warm up in the microwave and grumbles the whole way about how this mug can't keep the coffee warm long enough for me to drink it properly*

XDD I have no idea what the heck that was all about. *shrugs* OH WELL. I GUESS YOU'LL JUST HAVE TO DEAL WITH HYPER CHLOE TODAY.

Gravestone by Travis Thrasher

This book is about: After a tragic incident, Chris is left feeling empty. He's always been watched and told that's better to lay low and not do anything, rather than risk everything and know the truth. But in a town like Solitary, where there seems to be more darkness than light, the truth comes at a high price. Chris is torn between keeping his friends and family safe by not investigating the secrets of Solitary or seeking out the source of this darkness that haunts him and destroying it for good.

This was a really good book. But the author is super talented, he can make it feel like so many months have passed for you and you've only been reading the book for, like, a few days. XDD So that was a kinda cool feeling but it was also a tad bit depressing because Chris is feeling so sad. So things are like a blur to him. And he spends most of his time doing the same things and has this pattern of what he does for months on end. Which happens to me in real life, but it's strange reading a book like that.

All in all, it was a very good book! And I'm super curious about the next one because I've that readers can get very frustrated at Chris. :P

Run for Cover by Eva Gray

This book is about: Rosie and her three new friends are now certain about what's actually happening at the school. As they make their escape, they soon find that they need to trust one another if they're are going to get to safety. Rosie knows the cost of what it takes to survive, but will they listen to her? And can she trust them with a secret she's never told anyone before?

I love how this is such a short book but it's written in such a way that there's character growth and you slowly learn more and more about character's backstories and ahhh, its way better than I thought it would be! XD The series is written by four different authors under one name. One for each book, so one for each character. Run for Cover is written by Tui T. Sutherland! And it so feels like Sutherland's writing style! XD (I love her books. #WingsofFirefanforlife and #PetTroubleisadorable) I really like this series. :)

Majora's Mask by Akira Himekawa

This book is about: This book takes place right after Ocarina of Time, so Ganon has just been sealed away and peace has returned to Hyrule. Link's fairy, Navi, is missing. So Link is off again, this time searching for her. He stumbles upon a strange kid, Skull Kid, with a mask, on his journey. The mask, called Majora's Mask, is one that has the power to grant the wearer's every wish. Skull Kid uses this magic to transport Link to a similar but very different universe and turns Link into a Deku Nut! Link tries to find his way back to normal and to Hyrule, but he soon realizes this new world needs a hero more than Hyrule does right now. Does Link have enough strength to save that world from total destruction?

I love rereading and rereading these Legend of Zelda graphic novels so very much. And the art style and characters are just purely fun to visit again and again. I have read almost every single of the books, except for three, the two Twilight Princess ones and Phantom Hourglass.

It took me a little while, when I was new to these books, to read the book from right to left, like they do in Japan. But once you're comfortable doing that, it's very easy to read! And I can read one of these in like a day because I can't get enough of Link. XDD

- - -

I want to let all of you who requested art that I should have two pieces done by next week!!! I'm in the middle of working on one now and the next one should be done soon if I can enough to time to draw. XD I can't wait to share them with you!!! :O

Do you have a favorite genre of books to read?

How to Draw: Makar

Hey guys!!! I feel like I haven't seen you in a while, even though it's only been a week! :O XD

I've been watching my bro play so much Breath of the Wild and he keeps finding these little tree people called Koroks that I wanted to draw one of them. Koroks are in a few Legend of Zelda games but Korok I want to show you how to draw isn't from Breath of the Wild...

I know I've done step-by-step's before, but I hadn't done it in the more traditional way. I'm not even sure if there is a "traditional" way, but hoo-dee-hoo-hoo. Don't ask aboot what I just said. I is hyper. This iz whut happenz when I write a blog post when I'z drank coffee recently. XDD

Here's the little guy that I'm showing you faeries how to draw. Makar's from the game called Wind Waker. :3 And Makar plays a violin for Link sometimes and Makar's little friends once "sang" for Link, it was su coot. XD He's rather adventurous for his small size. Which makes him all the more cuter.

I thought I'd start with a simple circle because we all know how much I love starting my drawings that way. XD Hint: that's, like, how I start 'em all the time.

And then you draw a rounded cone on top of the circle. :P

And Makar is tree-ish so then you add the twig things on his head, making one taller than the other. :P

And the taller on the two twigs on Makar's head has another teeny, tiny twig sticking out of it.

Now, we draw his arms. (I had a little more difficulty making sure they were the same size. A ruler was handy to have for that. XD)

Makar's legs were also hard to get to be the same. (Thanks again, Mr. Ruler, for letting me use you. XDD) I also drew a little line in the middle of the first circle I drew so that I would know where the middle of body was. And then I can draw his legs to be the same size a little easier.

The two circles are for Makar's mask. :) His mask is not symmetrical so one circle is bigger than the other.

And then you draw a few lines to connect the circles to become a leaf mask. Sorry, I didn't know of a way to make that part simpler.

Next, we're going to do the smaller details. Here's the line in the middle of a leaf. (Doesn't it make it look a little more leafy than before? XD)

Now you draw the rest of his mask. Which would be the eyes, the nose and the mouth. XDDD

Then you ink the lines you want to keep. :)

And erase!

Tada! There's my Makar step-by-step! What did you think?

Here's a picture of all the steps, just in case you want to save it. :)

- - -

I cannot believe I've forgotten so many times to say this. But, thank you all for requesting art last month! I will get to drawing them all soon. I hope to have them done by summer. I hope that not too long for you to wait. D: I will most likely get them done before then, but is a deadline for me just so I get them done. :P

What's your favorite video game?

Oh, Hey, There's More Art, Fancy That!

Oh goodness, it's Friday evening when I'm writing this and I'm so tired. But it helps to listen to Owl City's Cinematic CD. XD Let's see if this will make a lick of sense when I proofread it tomorrow. :P

*hums quietly along to "Not All Heroes Wear Capes"* Man, I love this album... XDD

"Childhood Friendship"

Okay!

I wanted to try out my alcohol-based markers again. (Last time was a flop. Here's the post about it. XD) I knew chibi was pretty easy to draw so I found a really cute reference base picture and drew it on some watercolor paper my older sis, Tracey, gave me.

You see, my brother, Josiah, got The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (I can't say that name without thinking of DanTDM's way of saying it... XDD) a couple months ago. And he's been playing it all the time with me and my younger sis, Lostfairy, watching. And so, as you can see, I love the game and I love drawing fan art for anything. So! That means I had to draw BOTW fan art!

I was first thinking that it would just be chibi versions of Link and Zelda, but then my dad saw what I was drawing and he said that they looked like little kids. I liked that idea, and I proceeded to simplify their outfits and make them look like kids.

I think this would be kinda how their relationship would look like if they had been friends as kids. XD

"Cool Dude"

Remember when I showed you faeries what I was working on a few weeks ago? Well, I colored it not long after and forgot to post it. XDD (Here's the link to the post.)

(I think he's a pretty cool looking guy. XD)

"Zutara"

For all of you who don't know these two "lovers," they are Katara and Zuko. AKA. Katara and my hot anime bae. XDD Their from one of my favorite TV shows called Avatar: the Last Airbender. (Which is a little bit of a *cough cough* strange show, but I love it. XDD)

Katara and Zuko aren't really a couple in the show, but I wish they were. Hence the ship name, Zutara. :P

I used a reference base photo for this drawing because *mumbles* I don't know how to draw kissing people. XDD I changed a few things up from the reference. Like, Zuko's right hand had only three fingers and a thumb. (How'd that happen??! XDDD) And Zuko's left hand was in a kind of strange position... So I made him running his hands through Katara's hair. Because that's what they do all the time in movies, right??? XD

I was also thinking Katara is all shocked and embarrassed and Zuko's totally cool with kissing her. :P (And he's totally enjoying it, too...)

"Northern Lights"

I was feeling like drawing northern lights because I've never done that. And so I drew an abstract-y night sky and scenery.

It wasn't supposed to be, but the little girl on the picture ended up looking a lot like the main character from Undertale, named Frisk. XD

One of my sisters, I think Lostfairy, said that the lights made her think of worms. XDD *laughs* I can totally see why!!

And Tracey thinks that the lights are like the northern lights in Owl City's Lucid Dreaming music video.

"Sad Draco"

I haven't read Harry Potter, but I really want to. And I've been looking in to it, and I really taken a liking to one character already. His name is Draco Malfoy. He's so tortured, how could I not like him? XDD And I saw this one picture where he's doing that same pose that's in my drawing, and I wanted to draw it. XD

I drew this with Lostfairy watching me and helping me again, because she is such a helpful and sweet and encouraging sister. ;) <3

It was fun drawing such sad eyes. XD I usually only draw eyes like that in doodles and not in actual drawings, because most of my people in my drawings are happy or serious, not super sad. :P

"Draco Malfoy"

Yes, I drew another Draco. XD He seems like such a cool character!! Even if he may be the bully... Um, yeah, that sounds weird. *laughs nervously* Heh, heh. Maybe he just doesn't know any better...? And, um, his outfit is... awesome! Ha. *shakes head at self* Yeah, no, that's not very convincing. XD

Pencil drawings are fun to do, and I got to try a technique I've been wanting to do a while. It's wear you draw a bunch of straight lines one way and the bunch more in a bunch of directions. Mhm, *nods* I know my snuff!!! XDD

It's called crosshatching and I learnt that trick from Manga Crash Course, best how to draw manga book ever. XDD

Anyway! I got to use the technique on Draco's sweater.

I sometimes think that Draco's outfit looks a little like a anime schoolboy uniform. And I love school uniforms for some reason! XD (Though, I think I'd like them less if I had to wear one to school everyday... Yay, for homeschool! Where I can wear comfy sweats and baggy hoodies all day... XD)

"Emotions"

*puts hands up and backs way and smiles sheepishly* So I'm a little obsessed with Draco right now! Heh! That's not weird. Right? Heh, heh. *rubs the back of neck nervously*

I've seen quite a few drawings where people draw a lots of emotions of one person on one picture. And I thought it looked so cool, and I wanted to draw something like that, too. :)

I drew neutral, angry, smug/happy, and sad. I first drew the basic shapes for all the Draco's, so I'd know if I had enough room. And once I was done that a drew them all one by one. It was really fun! I don't think I've drawn one person so many times, it's crazy! XD

The angry one looks super pouty mad. XDD And my neutral face for Draco is slightly grumpy or sad. :P

Oh! *is excited* Do you like how I have the smug Draco holding an apple?!!! There's a ship name for Draco and his apple! XDD Drapple!!!! :O XD He's often holding a green apple, so people think him and an apple are a great couple. XDDDD

You have no idea how hard it was drawing an apple to fit nicely in Draco's hand... I had to redraw and redraw and redraw. But I think it paid off. :P

It's so sad when Draco cries. He's not really the most pretty crier, but that's one of the reasons it's so sad. I made the sad Draco in my drawing have a tear in one eye. 3:

I didn't have enough time to color the Draco emotions picture before I posted this, so later I'll show you how it looks like finished.

XD I hope that wasn't too much Draco for you! Don't worry, though, I'm mostly sure that the next time I post art won't have a million, trillion, billion Draco pictures. XDD *whispers* Maybe, just, you know, a couple... Nothing too crazy.

So, that was my art from the past couple weeks. What do you think? Are you looking forward to summer as much as I am?!
